Christmas 2021
Published Mon, 29 Nov 2021
So we overcame the broken laser last year and were back in action pretty quickly.
If you have any projects you would like us to help with, please get in contact.
Buttons for bishops, paddles for tap rooms, holders for bottles, craft tools you can't seem to find anymore. Contact us and we'll see what we can come up with.
In the mean time, here is a photo of a couple of our cats that we have attached to posts in the garden to scare away the pigeons.
A new year disaster
Published Tue, 19 Jan 2021
Maybe not a disaster on the scale the country and indeed the world is going through at the moment, but definitely a knock to Twisted Sheep. The laser in our laser cutter has broken due to frost damage.
We hope to have a new laser and be back in business by the end of the month.
You can just make out the crack in the internal vacuum tube half way along its length. That is not good.
Thank you for bearing with us

Buttons for Bishops
Published Sat, 02 Jan 2021
We really enjoy getting unusual requests and this has to be one of our most unusual.
An order from the Bishop of Norwich for buttons shaped like bishops mitres.
Collection Drawers
Published Mon, 28 Dec 2020
We received a commission just before Christmas for a set of drawers for a customer to keep their cotton reels in order. This is what we came up with.
A set of four drawers in birch ply using spare cotton bobbins for the drawer handles.
The drawers have removable dividers to fit different sizes of reel.
We hope the customer will find them very useful.
UPDATE:
We have received and update from our customer, and the drawers are now full of cotton, as intended. It looks like they have been sorted by colour.
Chirstmas Table Centre Pieces
Published Fri, 13 Nov 2020
These were made for a customer for their Christmas table. The large one takes two standard oasis blocks, the smaller one takes a single block.
Andover Tap Room - Beer Paddles
Published Fri, 09 Oct 2020
Beer paddles are used to carry multiple drinks to your table. In this case, three thirds of a pint for tasting. Each paddle has it's own beer related quote and the Andover Tap logo.
The circles at the bottom would normally hold a numbered token to remind you which beer is in which glass. As this was a blind tasting, they were not used for this event.
Felt by Bex - Felting Tools
Published Sun, 20 Sep 2020
This is another piece of work for
felt-by-bex. This time, a short run item.
This is a felting template cut from clear acrylic with a bee logo in beach set into the corner.
If you would like to know more about what it is for, why not ask
here.
Felt by Bex - Buttons
Published Sun, 20 Sep 2020
This is a selection of the buttons, tags and coasters we created for a lady who does felting.
If you do not know what felting is, you are not alone, we didn't either. You can find out all about it on her
web site.
We worked collaboratively to transform her ideas and sketches into a design to be laser cut, and then produced a batch in 3mm Beach ply. We also supplied all of the design files so that the same design can be used on any printed materials or web publications in the future.
We try to separate the design work from the production so if you wish, you can get your items produced elsewhere.
Penton Park Brewery - Pump Handle
Published Sun, 20 Sep 2020
This was probably our most unusual request so far. We were handed this deactivated shot gun and asked to engrave
Penton Park Brewery's logo on to the stock.
The finished item was then used as a beer pump handle in a local pub to promote
Colonel Bob beer.
